The good folks at Disneyland had Sleeping Beauty Castle closed off in preparation for filming the ABC Christmas Special. It was a rare opportunity to photograph the Castle in a tranquil, people less state during the daytime. Coupled with the fact that it was right about sunset, it created for a fantastic photo opportunity! Here […]

There is something so magical about seeing the Sleeping Beauty Castle all decorated with garland, colored lights and lights that make it look like it is covered in twinkling snow. The night when I was taking this photograph I noticed that every single person no matter how tired they were would stare at the castle with […]

It never ceases to amaze me that when I look at Sleeping Beauty Castle during Christmas time that I look at it and stare at all the beautiful colors, lights, decorations. Then I find myself smiling at it from all her beauty. Unfortunately, it’ll be a while. I’m happy to say that I finally did some bracketing during this trip and took three different […]

Archimedes is one of my favorite subjects in the Disneyland hub. All the statues in the hub are excellent subjects, but his proximity to the castle makes him an easy favorite. It enabled me to get that nice castle bokeh in the background!

The moon was shining bright and was at the right spot when I took this photo. That night was my very first time doing night photography in a Disney park. For this shot I used the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 lens to capture as much of the castle as I could. I was up against the […]

From the Halloween Screams fireworks display at Disneyland California. This was a 15 second shot at f/11on a Nikon D5200. I really love how the burst coming from the center of castle turned out. Thanks for looking!!
