The Haunted Mansion from Liberty Belle – Garry Rollins

Everyone seems to have lots of photos of the exterior facade of the Haunted Mansion from the entry gates or queue line but it’s really hard to take in all the architectural detail from that angle. For a better “head on” view I boarded the Liberty Bell Riverboat for a lap around the Rivers of America.

The Haunted Mansion is the only Disney attraction to be featured in different lands at each of the five Magic Kingdoms. The Florida version is based upon the 19th Century Hudson River Dutch Gothic architecture style. Notice how many of the upper roof line elements are patterned after chess pieces.

This photo was shot on a Canon 5DII using a 24-105L lens set at 50 mm. The settings were f/9.5 with a shutter speed of 1/180 sec and ISO of 100

Post processing was done in Lightroom 5.
