Safe Return to Port – Rich Martin

Another submarine emerges from the depths of the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage after surviving an adventure with Nemo and friends at Disneyland, California. Many years ago when the submarines were dressed in naval gray, Walt Disney shared his disappointment that Nikita Khrushchev, leader of the Soviet Union, was not allowed to visit Disneyland on a trip to California. Walt wanted to show off his fleet of submarines, the eighth largest fleet in the world according to Walt, to the Soviet leader and perhaps pose with him for a photo. Now that would have been a picture for Daily Disney Photo!
