The Sun Setting On Big Thunder Mountain – Eddison Esteban

I tend to shoot Big Thunder Mountain quote often as there is so much to capture and appreciate. The Disney Imagineers did an incredible job of bringing the essence of the “wild west” right smack into the heart of a major amusement park.  Coupled with the fact that it is one of my family’s favorite ride, we are there often.  On this particular evening, the sun was just beginning to set on a busy Saturday.  I took the opportunity to leverage the sun flare by using the wood railing.  I was hoping for a train to come into frame but the line began to move and I would lose soon my shot.  After looking at it at post, I am sort of glad that it was train-less.

Settings were ISO 100,  1/50 second exposure at f/22 at 14mm.  Lens used was Nikon 14-24mm and camera was Nikon D4s.

I can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/eddisonesteban as well as on my Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/DisneylandResortImages

Thank You!
