SS Down the Hatch – Nick Barese

Today’s image is one of my favorite taken in WDW. After eating dinner at “The Wave” we decided to head over to Hollywood Studios. On the way we could see a storm approaching. We decided to wait the storm out and I am really glad we did. The park was fairly empty and it allowed me to get good night shots of the park with minimal people at around 8pm. This is about the 6th version I have edited of this image, it was a 3 bracket shot and I used Merge to 32 bit HDR. I found out about this product after listening to the ISO5571 podcast and hearing the crew talk about it. I think this process gave me the best results so far in editing this photo. For those of you wondering how to produce the star bust effect with the lights, use apertures of f/8 to f/16. I used f/8 for this image, trial and error is best to find the sweet spot of your particular lens.  Let me know what you think.
