Snow White Cottage – Garry Rollins
Since the opening of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the New Fantasyland expansion at the WDW Magic Kingdom in May of 2014, lines have been very long. Consequently I have only enjoyed the attractions probably three times. Each time I have hurried off the ride either talking with family or excited about having a new attraction and walked right past this structure. On your right as you exit the ride is a beautiful example of Imagineering architecture with Snow White’s Cottage. The train slows on the backside before unloading but the front side is easily overlooked. (In fact, a Flickr search found very few photos). As always, this is another good reminder to slow down and take in all that Disney has to offer. I think it will be interesting to watch and see how this view changes with the maturing landscaping over the next few years.
This photo was shot on a Canon 5DII using a 24-105L lens set at 24 mm. The settings were f/11 with a shutter speed of 1/60 sec and ISO of 100
Minimal adjustments were completed in Lightroom 5.
