Gaston’s After The Rain – David Punch
I’ve wanted to shoot this area for quite a while, but it tends to stay quite busy. My chance came after a short but strong thunderstorm one night. Ponchos were seen running from store to store, and my friends and I saw the opportunity to capture some great reflections.
This one was done on a low tripod, 30 sec exposure @ f/8, ISO 100. Lens was the Canon 17-40mm f/4, zoomed to 28mm.
Not much was done in the way of processing, just some clarity and a touch of saturation. Those bright LEDs do much of the color work for us. I did however clone out a couple of kids that wanted to linger in the frame. Id tell you where they stood, but a good magician never reveals his secrets.
