Pinocchio’s Village Haus – Garry Rollins
After a refurbishment in early 2014, Pinocchio’s Village Haus features flatbreads, meatball subs, and a Mediterranean salad (among other counter service items). It is centrally located in the Magic Kingdom and offers a cool place to sit after some of the long lines of Fantasyland. One highlight is the glass wall in the western Monstro Room, which allows guest to watch (and wave) at passengers on the Small World “Happiest Cruise”. The exterior façade offers several styles of old world architecture from Swiss Alpine to English Tudor to conceal the large dining area.
This photo was taken after park closing and was processed to offer a “softer” feel of a village at sleep. I considered adding a slight fog element but passed. This is a three shot merge with ISO 250 and f 9.5 at 8 seconds.
