Flying ghost Late Castle stage show 10 24 13

Disney Villains take the stage~Joanie Eddis-Koch

At certain times during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party the villains take the stage to strut their stuff. This lucky shot was captured with a  Nikon D4 and a 24-70mm f2.8 lens. The camera was set to 1/320th of a second because these characters were moving very quickly! The f stop was set to f4 and the metering mode was set to matrix. The ISO was set to 2000. The lighting for this stage show is very wonky with super bright, colored spot lights in use at various times during the show. There is also fixed lighting surrounding the stage that must be computer controlled. The meter on my camera did a nice job of responding to most of the lighting changes which would range from super bright to dark and blue.

With all the action happening on stage I was really lucky to get a clear shot of these cool kites that were flying around during the show.
