Sunset Club Couture ~Joanie Eddis-Koch

This is a 9 exposure tone map using Photomatix Pro version 4.2.7 It was imported to Photoshop CS6 and further tweaked in Camera Raw. Although some others disagree, I feel that having that 9 exposure spread really paid off when capturing the range of light and colors of this composition. The color dynamics of the blue tiles used in this building were well represented using this processing. This was taken during a busy time of night so it was necessary to compose this shot so that is was framed above the heads of all the people passing by. This was not a problem as I was able to emphasize the height and majesty of this fantastic Art Deco building.
