The Wharf at Dark

The Wharf At Dark – Mike Billick

This was a shot I took just before the park closed.  I made sure that I set up on an angle that not only showcased the wharf as a whole but captured the stage lighting in the distance.  It was important to bring out the detail in these lights because I feel that it made for a dramatic focal point while balancing out the shot. I also felt that the reflections in the water added another dimension to the picture.  I don’t think that if I had cropped the picture above the water it would have had the same overall effect on the outcome. Water reflections bring a new level of quality to your pictures.
